Tour Details:
Alanya village tour is a culture and nature tour where you will get to know the other side of Alanya, which is a busy tourism city, the nomadic village culture and witness the beauties of the Taurus mountains covered with wonderful pine forests. Our first stop in our tour is Alanya viewing terrace. ‘I LOVE ALANYA’, which can be seen from everywhere Alanya viewing terrace, where the sign is located, has a magnificent view from the high top of the Taurus Mountains, where you can see almost the entire city of Alanya, the Mediterranean Sea and Alanya castle.
Our next stop and our main destination is the village of Mahmutsey. The village of Mahmutsey is an ancient settlement, located in the north of Alanya and about 25 km from the center, on the Taurus Mountains, at an altitude of 600 meters from the sea, in an area covered with forests. The village took its name from the saint Mahmutsey who came from Khorasan. It is rumored that Mahmut Seyd lived during the reign of the Seljuk Sultan Alaedin Keykubat.
We will visit the oldest mosque of the region, which is 800 years old, in Mahmut sedi village. You will observe the most beautiful examples of woodworking in the mosque. The natural landscape consisting of plant texture around the village is reflected in the materials and decoration elements of the mosque. Our second visit place in this calm and peaceful Mahmut sedi village of the Taurus Mountains is the old village house, where we will get to know the village culture better. We will continue our tour through the narrow paths of the pine forests to the gedevet plateau and have lunch at our picnic restaruant reminiscent of the Dim Stream in Dereköy with its wonderful view.
